The Bob Coaster is a model of steel kiddie roller coaster manufactured by Gerstlauer. It debuted in 2017 with Kampala Express. It is the succesor of the Kiddy Racer.

Design

The ride's trains are the namesake of the coaster, featuring inline seating similar to a Swiss bob. The layouts mostly consist of a single drop followed by some turns. Layouts are able to support launches, none of the current installations posses these features however.

Trains feature the ability to ride the track backwards. Only Bucklbahn features this so far, with the last car of the train riding backwards.

Layouts

All models debuted as a custom layout before ending up in the catalog, allowing other parks to purchase the same layout. This phenomenon happens with every Gerstlauer model.
