LaMarcus Adna Thompson

LaMarcus Adna Thompson (March 8, 1838 – March 8, 1919) was an early roller coaster designer who held over 30 patents based on roller coasters. He did not invent the roller coaster.

Thompson died at his home in Glen Cove, Long Island on March 8, 1919.[1]
