HELP |
Regina Ⅱ (Japanese: レジーナⅡ) is an Intamin wooden roller coaster located at Tobu Zoo Park in Minami, Saitama, Japan. Regina is Italian for Queen.
History
The coaster officially opened on 18 March 2000 as Regina. It would operate in this form for 19 years, being closed on 9 August 2019. In November 2021, the park announced that Regina would reopen in 2023 following modifications by Great Coasters International, including new Millennium Flyer trains, with assistance from Sanoyas Rides Corporation and Skyline Attractions.[1][2] The renovated ride would eventually reopen on 18 March 2023, exactly 23 years after its original opening.
