HELP |
Runaway Mine Train is a steel roller coaster built by Italian manufacturer Barbisan currently located at M&D's Scotland's Theme Park in Motherwell, North Lanarkshire, Scotland, UK.
History
Before arriving at the park, this roller coaster operated with M&D's travelling fairs.
After the 2006 season, the roller coaster was modified by Fabbri. The tire propelled spiral lift was replaced with a straight chain lift, the first drop was replaced and the original train with spinning cars was replaced with a non-spinning, mine-train themed train. The track was also painted brown, previously it was red. The modified roller coaster opened in 2007.[1]
For the 2017 season, the roller coaster was moved to the space formerly occupied by Tsunami.
