Electric Eel is a steel launched roller coaster located at SeaWorld San Diego in San Diego, California, USA. It opened on May 10, 2018.
History
The addition of Electric Eel was announced in January 2017.[1]
Electric Eel had been expected to open on May 12, 2018. However, in April, the park announced that the opening would be brought forward two days to May 10.[2]

Electric Eel is a Sky Rocket II installation from Premier Rides, similar to Tempesto at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, also owned by SeaWorld. Other clones of Electric Eel are Superman Ultimate Flight at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, Sky Scream at Holiday Park, Zombie Ride at Bosque Mágico, Hype at Särkänniemi, and Sky Rocket at Chimelong Paradise.
