Sky Whirl was a triple Ferris Wheel built by Austrian manufacturer Waagner-Biro that was previously located at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois, USA.
History
Sky Whirl first opened with the park on May 29, 1976. In 2000, it was closed and demolished.[1] The ride was replaced by Déjà Vu in 2001. Following the ride's closure, 3-4 of its cabins are used as props for the Six Saints Cemetery, a graveyard paying tribute to Six Flags Great America’s defunct attractions during the park's Fright Fest event.[2]
